Ground Beef Mixture:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning mix
- 1 cup water
Additional Ingredients:
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup frozen corn
- 1 bag (about 8 oz) crushed tortilla chips
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup salsa
- 1/2 cup sliced black olives (optional)
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Sour cream and chopped fresh cilantro for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat. Add taco seasoning and water, simmer for 5 minutes.
- Combine ingredients: In a large bowl, mix the cooked beef with black beans, corn, tortilla chips, half of the cheese, and salsa.
- Bake: Transfer mixture to a baking dish, top with remaining cheese and olives. Bake for 20–25 minutes.
- Finish and serve: Garnish with green onions and serve with sour cream and cilantro.
