Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients:

  • 1 large head cauliflower (cut into bite-sized florets)
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened plant-based milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • nonstick cooking spray

Bang Bang Sauce:

  • 1/3 cup vegan mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to heat preference)
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or agave nectar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the Cauliflower: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, plant-based milk, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Coat each cauliflower floret in the batter, then roll in panko breadcrumbs. Place on the baking sheet and bake for 25–30 minutes.
  3. Make the Bang Bang Sauce: Whisk together vegan mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and maple syrup in a bowl.
  4. Toss in Sauce: Once the cauliflower is baked, toss it in the bang bang sauce or drizzle the sauce over before serving.
