Instructions

  1. Preheat the Smoker: Preheat the smoker to 250°F.
  2. Cook the Ground Beef: In a skillet, cook the ground beef until browned, then stir in taco seasoning. Set aside.
  3. Prepare the Cream Cheese Base: Mix cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise until smooth. Spread into a skillet.
  4. Layer the Dip: Add the ground beef, cheeses, tomatoes, red onion, olives, green onions, and jalapeños (if using).
  5. Smoke the Dip: Smoke uncovered for 45–60 minutes until cheese is melted.
  6. Garnish and Serve: Garnish with cilantro and serve hot with tortilla chips.

Notes

  • You can substitute ground turkey or sausage for beef.
  • For a stronger smoky flavor, try using hickory or mesquite wood chips.
  • This dip can also be baked in the oven at 350°F for 25–30 minutes.
