- 1 (10.5-ounce) can cream of chicken soup
- 1 (10.5-ounce) can cream of mushroom soup (or another cream of chicken)
- 1 packet (1 ounce) dry ranch dressing mix
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 8 ounces cream cheese (cubed and softened)
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Place the chicken in the slow cooker: Arrange chicken breasts at the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Mix the sauce: In a bowl, combine cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, ranch dressing mix, garlic powder, black pepper, and chicken broth. Pour over the chicken.
- Cook: Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours until chicken is tender.
- Add cream cheese: About 30 minutes before serving, add cubed cream cheese to the slow cooker, stirring until melted.
