Pumpkin Butter Ingredients:
- 1 (15-ounce) can pumpkin purée (not pumpkin pie filling)
- 1/2 cup apple cider or apple juice
- 1/3 cup brown sugar (light or dark)
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Cook the Pumpkin Butter: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the pumpkin purée, apple cider, brown sugar, maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves, and salt. Bring to a gentle simmer, then cook on low for 20–25 minutes until thick.
