Pineapple Mixture:

  • 1 cup crushed pineapple (with juice)
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare Pineapple Mixture: In a medium saucepan, combine crushed pineapple, apple cider vinegar, sugar, turmeric, garlic powder, ground ginger, and salt. Simmer until sugar dissolves.
  2. Add Jalapeños: Stir in sliced jalapeños and simmer until softened and mixture thickens.
  3. Jar and Seal: Transfer jalapeños and pineapple to jars. Cover with syrup, leaving headspace. Seal and cool before refrigerating.
