Penne Arrabbiata:

- 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- ½ cup fresh basil leaves, chopped

Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook penne until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
- Prepare the Sauce: Heat olive oil in a skillet, sauté garlic, add red pepper flakes, pour in crushed tomatoes, season, and simmer for 10–12 minutes.
- Combine and Serve: Toss cooked pasta with sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed. Stir in fresh basil and serve hot, topped with Parmesan.
Notes
