  • 3/4 cup mini M&M’s (plus extra for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream Butter and Sugars: In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add Egg and Vanilla: Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
  5. Fold in M&M’s: Gently fold in the mini M&M’s.
  6. Bake: Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, press a few extra M&M’s on top of each dough ball, and bake for 8–10 minutes until golden.
  7. Cool and Serve: Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
