Ingredients

Scale

For the Taco Shells:

  • 8 small flour tortillas
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

For the Filling:

  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked Italian sausage (crumbled)
  • 1/2 cup pepperoni slices (quartered)
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon (crumbled)
  • 1/4 cup diced ham
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Garnish:

  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare the Taco Shells: Lightly brush both sides of the tortillas with olive oil and drape them over the bars of an inverted muffin tin to form taco shells. Bake for 6-8 minutes until lightly golden and crisp. Remove and cool slightly.
  3. Fill the Tacos: Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce inside each taco shell. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, then layer in the sausage, pepperoni, bacon, and ham. Top with remaining mozzarella and a pinch of Italian seasoning.
  4. Bake: Place the filled tacos on a baking sheet and return to the oven for 5-6 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  5. Garnish and Serve: Garnish with fresh basil if desired and serve warm.

Notes

  • For a spicy twist, use hot Italian sausage and add red pepper flakes before baking.
  • You can also serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
