Meatballs:
- 1 pound ground lamb
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil for frying
Instructions
- Prepare the Meatballs: In a large bowl, combine ground lamb, onion, garlic, parsley, cumin, coriander, cinnamon, salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes, egg, and breadcrumbs. Mix until just combined; do not overmix.
- Cook the Meatballs: Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs in batches, cook for 8–10 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Serve: Enjoy hot with tzatziki, over rice, or in a pita.
Notes
- You can bake the meatballs at 400°F for 20 minutes as a healthier alternative.
