Sauce:

  • 1 small red bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 small green bell pepper (sliced)
  • ½ small red onion (sliced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon cracked black pepper (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Garnish:

  • chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Cook the Chicken: Season the chicken with salt and pepper, then cook in a skillet until golden and cooked through. Set aside.
  3. Prepare the Sauce: Sauté bell peppers, onion, and garlic. Add in cream, chicken broth, honey, and cracked black pepper. Simmer until slightly thickened. Stir in cheeses until melted.
