  • 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Additional Mix-Ins:

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup Halloween-colored M&M’s or candy-coated chocolates

  • Candy eyes (optional, for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream the butter and sugars: In a large bowl, cream the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla: Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  5. Stir in mix-ins: Fold in the chocolate chips, M&M’s, and sprinkles.
  6. Scoop and bake: Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet. Press extra candies and candy eyes on top of each dough ball. Bake for 10–12 minutes until lightly golden.
