For the Strawberry Lemonade:

  • 1 pound fresh strawberries (hulled)
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (from about 46 lemons)
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 1 cup ice (plus more for serving)

For Garnish:

  • lemon slices
  • fresh mint leaves

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine strawberries, lemon juice, and sugar. Blend until smooth.
  2. Pour the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a large pitcher to remove seeds and pulp.

  3. Add the cold water and stir well to combine.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness, adding more sugar if needed.
  5. Add ice and stir again.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  7. Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint if desired.

Notes

  • For a sparkling twist, replace 1–2 cups of the water with club soda or sparkling water just before serving.
  • You can also freeze strawberry purée in ice cube trays for extra flavor in each glass.
