For the Strawberry Lemonade:
- 1 pound fresh strawberries (hulled)
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (from about 4–6 lemons)
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
- 4 cups cold water
- 1 cup ice (plus more for serving)
For Garnish:
- lemon slices
- fresh mint leaves
Instructions
- In a blender, combine strawberries, lemon juice, and sugar. Blend until smooth.
- Add the cold water and stir well to combine.
- Taste and adjust sweetness, adding more sugar if needed.
- Add ice and stir again.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
- Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint if desired.
Pour the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a large pitcher to remove seeds and pulp.
Notes
- For a sparkling twist, replace 1–2 cups of the water with club soda or sparkling water just before serving.
- You can also freeze strawberry purée in ice cube trays for extra flavor in each glass.
