Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Cook the noodles: Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- Prepare the meat sauce: In a large skillet, brown ground beef, sausage, onion, and garlic. Add marinara sauce, crushed tomatoes, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Make the cheese mixture: Combine ricotta cheese, egg, 1/2 cup Parmesan, and parsley in a bowl.
- Layer the lasagna: In a 9×13-inch baking dish, start with meat sauce, noodles, ricotta mixture, mozzarella, and repeat layers. Finish with mozzarella and Parmesan. Bake covered for 25 minutes, then uncovered for 15–20 minutes until golden.
- Rest and serve: Let the lasagna sit for 10 minutes before serving.
