Cupcakes:

Frosting:
- 1 cup butter (softened)

- 2–3 tablespoons milk or heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon peppermint or vanilla extract
- red and green food coloring

Instructions
- Prepare Cupcakes: Preheat oven and line muffin tin. Mix cake batter and vanilla extract, then divide into liners and bake.
- Make Frosting: Beat butter, add sugar gradually, mix in milk/cream and extract. Divide, tint with food coloring.
