  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 (10.5-ounce) can beef consommé or beef broth
  • 1 cup water

Additional Ingredients:

  • 46 hoagie rolls or sandwich buns
  • 6 slices provolone or Swiss cheese
  • Optional fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Beef: Sear the chuck roast in a skillet until browned.
  2. Transfer the roast to a slow cooker and add Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, seasonings, beef consommé, and water.
