Description

These Crispy Air Fryer Spring Rolls are a delightful vegan appetizer with a crunchy exterior and a flavorful vegetable filling. Perfect for snacking or as a light meal, these easy-to-make spring rolls are a healthier alternative to traditional fried versions.


Ingredients

Filling:

  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger (grated)
  • 2 cups shredded green cabbage
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup thinly sliced green onions
  • 1/2 cup bean sprouts
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Other:

  • 12 spring roll wrappers
  • Small bowl of water (for sealing)
  • Olive oil spray

Instructions

  1. Sauté Aromatics and Vegetables: Heat sesame oil in a skillet, sauté garlic and ginger. Add cabbage, carrots, green onions, bean sprouts, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper.
  2. Prepare Spring Rolls: Place filling on a spring roll wrapper, fold and roll tightly, sealing with water. Repeat with remaining wrappers.
  3. Air Fry: Spray rolls with olive oil, air fry at 390°F for 8–10 minutes until golden and crispy, flipping halfway through.
  4. Serve: Enjoy hot with dipping sauce.

  • You can add cooked shredded chicken, pork, or tofu for extra protein.
