- 8 cups water
- 2 tablespoons honey or sugar
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley or Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon flaky sea salt

- Making the Dough: In a large bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit until foamy. Add flour and salt, knead until smooth. Let rise.

- Boiling and Topping: Boil bagels in honey water, brush with garlic butter mixture, sprinkle with salt.
- Baking: Bake at 400°F for 18–22 minutes until golden. Serve warm.
