Instructions
- Dough: In a small bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, granulated sugar, and salt. Stir in the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until a soft dough forms.
- Rolling: On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough into a rectangle about 4 inches long.
- Filling: In another small bowl, combine the brown sugar and cinnamon. Spread the melted butter over the dough and sprinkle with the sugar mixture.
- Rolling: Roll the dough into a log and place it in a microwave-safe mug or ramekin.
- Microwaving: Microwave on high for 50–60 seconds, or until the roll is just set (do not overcook).
- Icing: For the icing, stir together powdered sugar and milk until smooth, then drizzle over the warm cinnamon roll.
