- ⅓ cup baking soda
- 6 cups water (for boiling)
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted (for brushing)
- ½ cup mini chocolate chips or melted chocolate for dipping
Instructions
- Prepare the Pretzel Dough: In a large bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and brown sugar. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy. Stir in flour, salt, and melted butter. Knead for 6–8 minutes until smooth. Let rise for 1 hour.
- Shape and Bake: Preheat oven to 425°F. Boil water and baking soda. Cut dough into pieces, roll into ropes, and cut into bites. Boil bites and bake until golden.
- Coat and Serve: While warm, brush bites with melted butter and coat in cinnamon-sugar. Serve with chocolate chips or melted chocolate.
