Description

These Chicken Parmesan Sliders are a delightful twist on the classic Italian dish, perfect for a party or a fun family meal. Tender breaded chicken, marinara sauce, and gooey cheese sandwiched between soft slider buns, baked to perfection.

Ingredients

Scale

Slider Buns:

  • 12 slider buns or Hawaiian rolls

Cooked Chicken:

  • 2 cups cooked breaded chicken (nuggets or cutlets), chopped or sliced to fit buns

Marinara Sauce:

  • 1 1/2 cups marinara sauce

Cheese:

  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Seasonings:

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Garnish:

  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare Sliders: Slice slider buns in half horizontally without separating. Place bottom halves in the dish.
  3. Layer Ingredients: Evenly layer chopped chicken over buns. Spoon marinara sauce, top with cheeses, then cover with top bun halves.
  4. Season and Bake: Mix melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Brush over buns. Cover with foil, bake 15 minutes, then uncover and bake for 5–7 minutes until golden.
  5. Serve: Rest briefly, slice, and garnish with parsley if desired.

Notes

  • Use frozen chicken for convenience or add breadcrumbs for extra crunch.
  • Extra marinara sauce for dipping is a tasty addition.
