Ingredients
Scale
For the parfait:
- 2 cups plain Greek yogurt (full-fat or low-fat)
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
- 2 cups mixed fresh berries (such as strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries)
- 1 cup granola
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the yogurt: In a medium bowl, mix the Greek yogurt with honey or maple syrup, if using, until smooth.
- Prepare the berries: Rinse and pat dry the fresh berries. Slice any larger berries like strawberries if desired.
- Assemble the parfait: In serving glasses or jars, layer 2–3 tablespoons of yogurt at the bottom, followed by a layer of mixed berries and then a layer of granola. Repeat the layers until the glass is full, ending with a few berries and a sprinkle of granola on top.
- Garnish and serve: Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired. Serve immediately for the crunchiest texture, or refrigerate for up to 1 hour before serving.
Notes
- For a dairy-free version, use coconut or almond milk yogurt.
- You can also use flavored yogurt, but adjust added sweeteners accordingly.
- To keep the granola crunchy, layer just before serving.
