Description

Indulge in a delightful Berry Parfait with Yogurt and Granola, a refreshing and satisfying breakfast treat that combines creamy Greek yogurt, fresh mixed berries, crunchy granola, and a hint of sweetness. This colorful parfait is easy to assemble and perfect for a quick, nutritious start to your day.

Ingredients

Scale

For the parfait:

  • 2 cups plain Greek yogurt (full-fat or low-fat)
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 2 cups mixed fresh berries (such as strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries)
  • 1 cup granola
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the yogurt: In a medium bowl, mix the Greek yogurt with honey or maple syrup, if using, until smooth.
  2. Prepare the berries: Rinse and pat dry the fresh berries. Slice any larger berries like strawberries if desired.
  3. Assemble the parfait: In serving glasses or jars, layer 2–3 tablespoons of yogurt at the bottom, followed by a layer of mixed berries and then a layer of granola. Repeat the layers until the glass is full, ending with a few berries and a sprinkle of granola on top.
  4. Garnish and serve: Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired. Serve immediately for the crunchiest texture, or refrigerate for up to 1 hour before serving.

Notes

  • For a dairy-free version, use coconut or almond milk yogurt.
  • You can also use flavored yogurt, but adjust added sweeteners accordingly.
  • To keep the granola crunchy, layer just before serving.
