Ingredients
Scale
Chicken Thighs:
- 6 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Bang Bang Sauce:
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare the chicken: Pat the chicken thighs dry and place them on the baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil, then season with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Rub to coat evenly.
- Bake the chicken: Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F and the edges are golden and slightly crisp.
- Make the Bang Bang sauce: While the chicken bakes, whisk together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and rice vinegar in a small bowl until smooth and creamy.
- Finish the dish: Once the chicken is done, spoon or brush the Bang Bang sauce over the thighs while hot. Garnish with chopped green onions or sesame seeds if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Serve over rice, noodles, or a bed of greens.
- For extra crispiness, broil the chicken for 2–3 minutes after baking before saucing.
- The Bang Bang sauce also works great as a dipping sauce for veggies or shrimp.
